Buyer and Seller FAQ’s For Boats/RV’s
| Buyer | How does the program work for a buyer? |
You, the Buyer, take over payments of the Seller's actual payment and interest rate for a 2 to 4 year period which creates a track record for you to obtain your own financing at the end of the contract term. At then end of the Contract term, the outstanding principle balance becomes the amount you will be required to either pay off in cash or obtain financing for. |
| Buyer | How do I start? |
You complete an application that includes a credit application and a basic financial statement for our underwriting department to qualify you and a good faith deposit to show that you are serious. The good faith deposit is applied to the first month’s payment when the deal is closed. |
| Buyer | Do you pull my Credit? |
In just a few instances your credit will be pulled from a national credit bureau. Remember, we are looking for buyers that have the income and the credit worthiness to make the payments during the term of the contract and to be able to obtain the financing for the final payment. |
| Buyer | What are the services that you provide? |
One of our services is to mange the terms of the Contract during its entire term. One of our functions within this service is to keep in contact with you and to assist you with getting your credit score increased and with obtaining the loan you need at the end of the contract. |
| Buyer | What is my total upfront cost? |
You pay the management fee, which range from 10-15% of the purchase price, 3 months of payments are held in holding account and the first payment for the full coverage insurance. The holding account is used for your last 3 months of payments. |
| Buyer | What if I don't see any Boats/RV’s in your inventory that I want but I am interested in utilizing your program? |
United Marine and Aircraft Group LLC are continually working on alliances with other brokers as well as individual sellers. This means that our inventory is continually growing and gives us access to Boats/RV’s that you are looking for. Once we find the Boat/RV you are requesting, we contact the seller and get them on our program. |
| Buyer | Does the Boat/RV have to be in my state? |
No. We are accustomed to shipping them throughout the United States if you cannot pick it up at its present location. The shipping costs are not that expensive and do vary depending on the size of the vessel. If it is an RV, we are hoping that you will fly to its location and start having fun by driving it on the first of your many journeys. |
| Seller | How does the program work for a Seller? |
We will actively market your Boat/ RV in leading classified sites at no cost to our sellers and our marketing agreements are strictly non committal meaning you can keep your boat for sale on the open market. |
| Seller | How do I start? |
You will need to complete the listing agreement that gives us your loan details and your Boat/RV specifications. We then list your Boat/RV. |
| Seller | Do I incur any cost out of my pocket? |
There is no cost to you. We market your Boat/RV on our website, Boat Trader/ RV Trader and several other sites that we have had success with. We are very aggressive in our marketing strategy. |

We insist that you continue to list your boat. Because our marketing agreements are non committal, you can have your Boat/RV listed anywhere. |
| Seller | Is there any length of time that I am committed to list with you? |
Our marketing agreement is open ended. But we would hope that you list with us for at least 90 days to give us the proper chance to get your Boat/RV sold. |
| Seller | What if I sell my boat while I am signed up with you? |
There is no cost to you. We will take your boat off of our listings and congratulate you on your success. |

Yes. Every Buyer that we send to you, even though they have passed our stringent approval process, you have the final approval. We want you to be one hundred percent satisfied that this Buyer has the ability to carry out their responsibilities of the Contract. |
| Seller | What happens after a year goes by, the buyer says I don't want the boat anymore? |
We are very selective regarding our buyers; if they do not meet our underwriter’s approval then we will not even consider them. The Buyers we send to you for your approval are people who do not have income or creditability problems AND are stable. |
| Seller | So what happens if the buyer defaults? |
In the event of default, which rarely happens only because of the way we scrutinize our buyers, we actively pursue, with you, any and all means necessary to recover, from the Buyer, his default. Our Contracts have been reviewed by a very reputable law firm and we have made them as tight as we can possible can. Our language in the Contract is very extensive and we will review this with you before the deal is closed. |
| Seller | What if the buyer can't get financing for the balloon at the end of the contract? |
We manage the Contract right to the end and are continually keeping in contact with your Buyer. One of our key services is assisting the Buyer with raising their credit score. We point them to credit repair agencies and perform a mid-term credit check with the Buyer to make sure they are filling their responsibilities of the Contract. Also, we are associated with financial institutions that know our core business. |
| Seller | What happens if the Buyer trashes the boat? |
Once the contract is executed, the buyer is contractually responsible for entire condition of the Boat/RV. |
| Seller | What happens if somebody gets hurt, what is my liability? |
Within the contract, the Buyer is required to carry full coverage insurance. This insurance binder names the Seller as the named insured, with the lien holder as a loss payee. The Buyer is listed as a named driver. Also, within the contract, the Seller is indemnified from the Buyers actions. We will point these out to you when we review the Contract with you before the deal is closed. |
| Seller | What happens if I own the Boat/RV outright. Can I still sell under this program? |
Yes you can still sell it. The payment will be established based on the amortization of the amount to be financed by the Buyer, which becomes the selling price. You pick the payment and the interest you want to get on a monthly basis. |
| Seller | What happens if I own the Boat/RV outright. Can I still sell under this program? |
We have a GPS locator that is installed on every Boat/RV we sell. You can get on the internet and tell exactly where your Boat/RV is at all times. |
